Today marks the next step in our story.
The CS Board of Directors appointed Steve Capecci, our Chief Operating Officer and a CS leader since 1999, to serve as Interim Chief Executive Officer. In his time with CS, Steve has held numerous leadership positions, including Operations Manager and Chief of Consulting Operations. He has helped nearly two dozen states use technology to make commercial vehicles safer and more efficient, and continues to regularly engage with federal, state and local clients. Steve knows our clients, our people, and our work deeply, and he brings that experience and perspective to this next phase for the firm.
He is succeeding Brad Wright, who has served CS for nearly 35 years, including 16 as President and CEO. We are grateful for Brad's many contributions to our firm, our people, and the clients and communities we serve.

The timing of this leadership transition is intentional to coincide with the approaching start of our fiscal year and adoption of a new strategy to guide CS over the next few years as our client needs continue to evolve. Throughout our history, CS has adapted to a changing transportation landscape while building on the expertise and relationships that have long defined our firm. While our leadership is changing, our commitment to our clients and to delivering exceptional work is not. As Steve recently shared, “I joined CS 27 years ago to do some of the most complex work in my technical field. CS continues to provide innovative and value-added services to our clients as we combine our deep topical and client-specific expertise with data to give our clients the insights that they need to be successful .”
As we look ahead, we are excited to offer a more integrated approach to our services, leveraging advanced analytics, data and technology, while continuing to bring our uniquely effective combination of experience, curiosity, innovation, and commitment to the evolving challenges facing our clients and the industry.
