When you come to work for Cambridge Systematics, you are joining a community of professionals working towards a common goal: make transportation better for future generations.
Join our mission-driven team and experience a culture of collaboration, mutual respect, accountability and learning where individualities are celebrated.
As a Cambridge Systematics employee, you do meaningful work that impacts communities, mobility, safety, operations, livability, economic development and accessibility. And here’s what you will gain:
Culture is everyone’s responsibility, and it’s always dynamic. Our Culture Charter helps keep our staff grounded in their commitment to upholding our firm’s values and to fostering a culture of collaboration, mutual respect, accountability and learning.
As part of our commitment to culture, CS’ Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Council was formed to create and implement a strategic plan to help our firm become a more equitable and inclusive place to work.
In addition to attending industry conferences, our staff have support in exploring courses and participating in trainings to further their professional development. CS leadership host in-house trainings, like our Associates Boot Camp, for staff at career milestones. As an employee-owned company, we provide a community of peers who are invested in your success.
Through volunteer opportunities, like supporting WTS’ Transportation YOU Summit for school-aged girls, our staff are encouraged to give back in ways that can help make transportation better and foster the next generation of industry leaders.
We take our work helping clients solve transportation challenges seriously, but we take connection and having fun with co-workers seriously too. During COVID-19 while staff work remotely, we’ve stayed connected by hosting spirit weeks, happy hours, virtual Halloween-themed events, a holiday gift swap and virtual coffee breaks.
Our firm stays active participating in committees and conferences hosted by organizations such as the Transportation Research Board, American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials, American Public Transportation Association, Conference of Minority Transportation Officials, Association of Metropolitan Organizations and WTS International.
Your personal goals are as important as your professional ones. Understanding and participating in the interests of our colleagues makes us a better community and team. Recently our firm was honored with New England Donor Services’ Employer Recognition Award thanks to one of our colleague’s passion for educating the firm on the importance of living donor organ donation.
Take a look through our job postings and if you think you have what it takes but aren’t sure you meet all the requirements, we invite you to connect with us. We value all perspectives and life experiences and want to hear about yours.

FACT: We remove candidate names in our recruitment process to help reduce unconscious biases in hiring. Until the interview phase, only our Talent & Culture Team knows an applicant’s name and identifying information.
