Last year Metro Transit Minneapolis selected Cambridge Systematics to deploy the open-source software TheTransitClock to help improve the agency’s real-time bus predictions for their riders.
In a recent blog article, Metro Transit explains that this new NexTrip system provides more accurate predictions based on current bus location and historical bus arrival data, taking into account unusual conditions like traffic congestion and weather events. Click here to read the article.
