Cambridge Systematics recently welcomed Roan Bennett back to the firm as its new VP of Planning, effective April 11. “Throughout this search, I have been focused on finding a leader for our largest business line that can: align, inspire, and motivate a team of professionals around our Collective Ambition; empower our team to achieve our collective goals in a manner consistent with our strategy and Culture Charter; and deliver the results that we need to achieve our long-term vision to be the exemplary firm in our field,” says Steve Capecci, Chief Operating Officer. “I believe that Roan is that individual and I'm excited to partner with him to drive our success in our Planning business.”
Meet Our New VP of Planning
Roan Bennett, a Vice President of Cambridge Systematics, has over 20 years of experience leading public-sector transportation agencies and providing value-added consulting services to clients. Roan has designed, implemented, and/or executed statewide and agency-level performance-based planning programs to ensure that customers are receiving the services that they need, agency priorities are being met and aligned with state-wide and federal goals, objectives and priorities, and public funds are being maximized. Roan also has been personally engaged in outreach and engagement activities to ensure that his agencies fully appreciate the needs of its customers. An experienced consultant, Roan’s areas of expertise includes: capital program management for large state agencies; performance measures and management; outreach and engagement; capital planning; strategic planning, multimodal transportation planning; operations management analysis; and standards oversight.
