CS helps develop FreightNYC, a plan to modernize New York City's freight distribution system
With NYC Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC), CS helped develop the FreightNYC plan, a modern, multimodal freight strategy for New York City.
The plan was unveiled on July 16th and aims to create a more sustainable and resilient supply chain network, while also strengthening the city’s economy and improving air quality.
The CS team, including Chris Lamm, Principal; Andreas Aeppli, Principal; Nikhil Puri, Senior Associate; Moby Khan, Associate; Lisa Destro, Associate; Brian Stewart, Associate; Katie Kirk, Associate; Becky Wingate, Senior Professional; and Maz Kamali, Senior Professional, focused on freight data and forecast analyses, travel demand and network analyses for multimodal corridor alternatives, and evaluating ecommerce fulfillment center demand and rail transload facility locations.
