Cambridge Systematics developed the ITS Deployment Analysis System (IDAS) for the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) to help state, regional, and local agencies easily and consistently assess ITS deployments. With IDAS, you can systematically evaluate the impacts, benefits, and costs for more than 60 types of ITS investments deployed in isolation or in any combination.

Many of our clients have found IDAS especially useful in integrating ITS into their ongoing transportation planning process. And, if you are familiar with the travel demand forecasting process and ITS planning, you’ll find IDAS easy to use. We offer both training and a range of consulting services to help your agency leverage IDAS.
You do… if you are part of a state, regional, or local agency or metropolitan planning organization (MPO) that participates in transportation improvement decisions, and you want to ensure the best ITS deployments for your area.
IDAS has been applied to improve ITS deployments
in Cincinnati, OH; Kansas City, MO; Lansing, MI; and Hampton Roads,
VA. Read case studies of these projects. ![]()
