Transportation Safety Specialist/Planner – Open Location
We are seeking a mid-level transportation safety specialist/planner/engineer experienced in any of our offices working with state highway safety offices, departments of transportation, metropolitan planning organizations, and/or the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT), all modes, especially the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA). The ideal candidate has an understanding of U.S. DOT grant and research programs, the Federal role in transportation safety, multidisciplinary safety countermeasures, performance-based planning and measurement, and transportation safety data.
